01

Separate deposits from large debris

Surface fouling and adhered deposits require a different approach from extracting branches, logs or large floating waste. The A-80 should be evaluated for the actual cleaning mechanism, rather than treated as a substitute for every trash-rack cleaner.

02

Check the contact and travel geometry

Confirm bar spacing, material, angle, irregularities and available working area. The robot’s ability to approach, attach, move and retreat must be demonstrated for the proposed surface.

03

Specify the cleaning and support package

Confirm the selected brush or cavitation water-jet module together with pump, power, hose, control station and recovery equipment. Vehicle data alone does not establish cleaning capability.

04

Measure cleaning against a defined outcome

Record the material, deposits, area, working time and achieved condition. Review the possibility of substrate or coating damage and establish a representative test before claiming productivity.

05

Use the manufacturer case with its context

The supplied brochure identifies an A-80 application at the Baihetan hydropower intake in China. Seek the exact configuration and original evidence when assessing a similar project.
